Booking and Payments

Booking begins with an inquiry by email at info@beinspiredtours.com, on WhatsApp at +351 910 211 858 or on our webform here. Once availability is confirmed, the next steps and payment details are shared directly.

Booking in advance is recommended, especially for The Founders Collection and during busier travel periods.

We accept payment by bank transfer for deposits. The remaining balance is due prior to the scheduled tour date and can be paid by bank transfer or cash payment. All prices are listed in Euros(€).

A 50% deposit of the total tour price is required to secure your reservation and confirm availability for your selected experience. The remaining balance is due prior to the scheduled tour date. For bookings made within 7 days of the scheduled tour date, full payment may be required at the time of booking. We currently accept bank transfers and cash payments.

Tour Logistic

Pick-up & drop-off locations are within Central Portugal, if you require a different pick-up & drop-off location please get in touch with us. Day Tours and The Founders Collection usually begin within Central Portugal, while Beyond Santiago begins in Santiago de Compostela. Alternative locations may be possible by prior arrangement.

We recommend being ready at the agreed pick-up point 15 minutes before the scheduled start time to ensure a smooth departure.

We accommodate up to 6 guests per booking. Day tours require a minimum of 2 guests, while solo experiences are available for select services, including The Founders Collection and Beyond Santiago. All experiences are private and exclusive to your group.

Some experiences may be suitable for older children or teenagers, depending on the pace, theme, and structure of the experience. In general, many of our offerings are designed primarily for adults. Please get in touch if you are considering booking as a family.

General Information

We offer three types of private experiences in Portugal: Day tours, The Founders Collection, and Pilgrim Way experiences. Each is designed with a different pace, purpose, and depth of experience.

Our day tours are full-day experiences of approximately 8 hours. The Founders Collection are multi-day private experiences lasting between 2 and 4 days, while our Pilgrim Way experiences are designed as one-day experiences of approximately 8 hours. 

No. Accommodation is arranged independently. For The Founders Collection, guidance on where to stay may be provided after booking so that the route and rhythm of the journey work naturally.

Preparation

We recommend bringing any personal essentials you may need for the day, along with comfortable footwear and weather appropriate clothing. Depending on the season and the type of experience, items such as sun protection, a light jacket, or an umbrella may also be advisable.
For The Founders Collection, any specific preparation notes will be shared after booking.

We recommend comfortable clothing and footwear suitable for the season, the weather, and the nature of the experience. Practical shoes are always advisable. For sacred or pilgrimage-related experiences, modest dress may also be appropriate when visiting religious sites.

The physical level depends on the specific experience. Most involve light to moderate walking, sometimes on uneven ground, village streets, forest paths, pilgrimage routes, or rural terrain. If you have any mobility concerns or specific requirements, we recommend getting in touch before booking so we can advise honestly.

Private and Custom Tours

Yes. All of our experiences are private and arranged exclusively for your group.

Some experiences allow for a degree of flexibility, while others follow a more defined structure. Day tours may allow for small adjustments based on your interests, pace, and the natural flow of the day. The Founders Collection is more intentionally structured and are not fully bespoke, though certain elements may still be adapted where appropriate.

Cancellation and Changes

Cancellations made 14 or more days before the scheduled tour date are eligible for a refund of all amounts paid, minus non-refundable payment processing and administrative fees.

Cancellations made between 7 and 13 days before the scheduled tour date are eligible for a refund of 50% of all amounts paid minus non-refundable payment processing and administrative fees.

Cancellations made less than 7 days before the scheduled tour date are non-refundable.

At our discretion, amounts already paid may be applied toward a future booking within 12 months of the original tour date, subject to availability.

No-shows or same-day cancellations that prevent the experience from operating as scheduled are non-refundable.

On rare occasions, external factors such as inclement weather or site restrictions may require changes to your planned itinerary. We will strive to preserve the quality of your experience, and if cancellation is unavoidable, a full refund will be issued.

Safety and Credentials

Yes. We operate under an RNAAT tourism activity license registered with Turismo de Portugal and carry the appropriate insurance required for our activity.
English and Portuguese
Yes. We follow the relevant safety and operational guidelines required for our tourism activity and take care to ensure that each experience is conducted responsibly, professionally, and with your well-being in mind.
Guests are responsible for their own personal belongings throughout the experience. We cannot accept liability for loss, theft, or damage to personal items.
